I have been telling the collecting community since 2000 about this problem.
Sources in Finland have told me they know of at least one that has made it to the U.S. That person was observed using it for his Mil Surp equipment business.
There is now a new source for these stamps which makes new ones back east. This stamp is the larger size "SA" stamp.
Be very careful if you see the non made Finnish guns with a "SA" stamp. Some of the following guns could be stamped with one of these fake stamps:
1) Nagant revolvers
2) Swede mausers
3) Misc handguns used by the Finns from other countries besides Finland to include the Ruby, Luger, cz24, cz38.
4) Russian rifles to include the m/38 and m/44.
These types of posts raise some peoples hackles. But then again, if it does, you should ask yourself why?
Here is another post that talks about the fake stamps. KH even talks about where they are offered overseas.
