There is a brief on the K-31 in the June 2008 American Rifleman. It is an excerpt from a book covering (dis)assembly of military rifles. Accordingly, it covers
disassembly (including bolt) but doesn't say too very much about the rifles themselves beyond a description of the straight pull mechanism. It is
accompanied by a very nice photograph of the rifle with bayonet and frog, and a few other accessories. One thing I noticed is that the charger clip is
off-white in color, where I've only ever seen the brown ones. It's not an in-depth article by any means, but it may pique a bit of interest in these
fine rifles.
