The plane went upside down. The pilot kicked his boots in the lake and walked through russian minefields back to a Finnish stronghold only with his sockings. This is the only Brewster in the world. The aerial combat took plase deep in East Karelia in Sekeza area, where he managed drop a Hurricane or Mig-1 before the Brewster got so serious hits that he had to dump it into a lake. There was no detonators.. This is the only Brewster in the world. An emergy landing in to forest would have meand his end. There was a great depate in Finland because The Finns wanted it back home to Finland. Then it later ended in Pensacola where they friendly loaned to Tikkakoski which is our leading museum in auronautics. Probably it is a good thing that the old warhorse has a good home to rest .

You notice the frame is wide and men kept things inside. Once a Brewster 'went long' in airfield. From the wrecked plane crawled out a captain with a suitcase and even his dog. Of course there was a pilot. I have seen the court marshal minutes and decision. Of course they got a little punishment If I recall it right in This plane or another one were a pair of skies, in summertime. A Soviet fighter surprised once a Finnish pilot over the Gulf of Finland near Leningrad. The fighter was in his tail, which is a serious thing. He made a dramatically decision: An outside roll (I hope this word is right) where the G-forces are very high He told all the sand from floor came to his face. He was taking hits and obviously Pekuri tried to come to help. He was in his first or second shortie. The plane went down in a swamp. The pilot flew out of the cocpit. Walked around seweral days. Saw a young deer which he sot with his pistol and dranksome its blood. He managed to arrive Finnish positions. PS. A break away was commanded and Pekuri dived deep to surfice and headed full speed towards homebase. . Then he was ambused by a fighter from hight. The fighter scored several hits to Pekurinen's plane but had so high speed that it run in front of Pekurinen's plane. Pekurinen told, suddenly, I had the sight full of a figther and reflexlike pulled the drigger. The plane went to forest an exploded. My wing tanks were burning. And so he had to deside an emergency landing.A finnish infantry patrol in the area saw the situation and whitnessed it.
