The dealers here are having a hard time getting stock. One dealer ordered and his shipment came in a week after the gunshow.
Another dealer had one order in since the Shot Show - February(?) and has not received a single box from that company. Copper and brass prices are shooting up - supposedly because of the ammo needed by the Army. Primers which were about $20 per 1000 is now up around $25 to $27 per 1000. The prices are up about 25% or more. Even .22 ammo is more expensive. One dealer said he can still get ammo but the prices are higher and he is not sure if he can move it. |

Metal prices Yes Weak Dollar Yes BATF slow in approving Form 6's for import Yes The WOT, No, cause we never get US Mil ammo surplus since the Clinton Admin ban on sales. Demand way up there. I see alot more folks at our Shows buying ammo than firearms, but the semi-auto market is picking up for sure. I felt this might happen a year out from the election. But as of today, Century Arms got that shipment of Aussie 7.62 in. My dealer could only get 12k rounds, as they are almost out, it was an FFL only buy and they only had 1.2 or million rounds at 40cts ea wholesale. I think they were limiting all the known net dealer's in their round count. Watch the net for this stuff. |

Prices are way up. I'm glad I bought it when it was cheap and stacked it deep. Do you remember when Century a few years ago was selling 1400 rounds of Turk

Ah, No, GP-11 never was that cheap but the 8MM was. If I found GP11 that cheap I would have bought a lot of it. Best I ever got GP-11 for was $145 for a case
from Century a few years back. MC
