I had a friend obtain this one for me, so I didn't have to be put on a Center Fire Systems waiting list. Now all I need is a few Russians? The only problem with the system is that Tenn. Guns shipped it in the soft case which resulted in the case zippers being damaged.

Finnbear marked 91/30 bayonet

Here is a "SA" stamped 91/30 bayonet. It looks like one of the ones Finnbear marked in this country and sold as a "real" "SA" stamped bayonet. Interesting that he thought he would get a way with it, but there are two witnesses to his acts and are well know on the Internet. Also many Finns in Finland knew about this and question certain "SA" stamped things here in the USA. Its funny the Finn bayonet collectors in Finland first noted this and never saw so...

They Carried Mosin Nagants

I apologize if I'm posting info that's already been discussed, but I want to mention a US Army formation that carried Mosin Nagants in 1918 - 1919 in north Russia, namely, the Polar Bears, as described in more detail in the second pic below. Fifty-six of these 5,000+ US soldiers are buried at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan; and they were remembered today in a ceremony arranged by the Polar Bear Memorial Association:

I bought this M-91 Remington last week. I'm new to Mosin's but anyway here is the Case. The stock is not walnut and no RRemington markings on it. After cleaning all the grease off of it I did find what I think is a marking on the right side of the butt. It is very faint you must look cafefully. I think maybe this it a finnish Mosin.
